Karen grew up in Milton, where she knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After completing her honours degree in Molecular biology and genetics, she continued on to the Ontario Veterinary College where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Karen has a special interest in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and both canine and feline behaviour. She is passionate about preventative care, and enjoys getting to know the human family members of all her furry patients.
Karen lives in Toronto’s west end with her partner, son, and their cats Price and Lily. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, reading, playing soccer, cooking, spending time exploring the many neighbourhoods in Toronto, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays!
“No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.”
