Kita is a Veterinary Assistant who graduated from Georgian College in 2015. She grew up loving animals (including her family dog, Sadie!) and she knew from a a young age that she always wanted to work in the vet industry. She started off as a kennel assistant and has now worked her way up to assisting with appointments and surgery.
Kita’s favourite part of being a veterinary assistant is being able to take care of the animals and help them! She also enjoys helping prepare patients for surgery and controlling the laparoscopic spay camera. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Curtis and her dog Harper (pictured), and watching scary movies. She hopes to one day complete the Veterinary Technician program and become an RVT.
