On Saturday, July 2 at 7pm, The Caledonian Pub, Roncy Village Veterinary Clinic, and Bloorcourt Veterinary Clinic will present Whisky for Whiskers – a whisky tasting fundraiser benefiting Cat Lake Friends of Animush Dog Rescue.
Please join us for tastings of four whisky selections from across Scotland, guided by a whisky expert who will ensure that both connoisseurs and novices alike leave with a greater appreciation for the many facets of Scotch whisky.
Every dollar of the $50 ticket price will fund spay/neuter clinics in remote fly-in First Nations communities that have no access to local veterinary care. Cat Lake Friends of Animush works in partnership with these communities to implement long-term dog health and pet care education programs. These clinics and programs reduce dog overpopulation and help to improve the lives and living conditions of both dogs and community members. While our veterinarians and technicians are proud to donate their time and expertise, Cat Lake Friends of Animush relies on the generosity of donors to cover the numerous expenses associated with making these clinics a reality.
